Next Event: TBD at Simi Iceoplex. $25. Beginners welcome. Lessons included. RSVP required!
Upcoming tentative and confirmed events are listed in a site-wide banner. Events usually last around two hours, depending on how fast the ends are played and how late the event is scheduled.
If you wish to attend an event you must email us to RSVP.
We play at the Iceoplex in Simi Valley. Walk inside the main entrance and then go in the inner door on the right. We will either be set up just inside that inner door with a table greeting folks, or we will be at the far corner of the ice rink preparing the stones and the ice for play. If you don’t see us just inside the inner door, walk around the ice rink (keeping the ice on your left) all the way to the far corner.
If you wish to attend an event you must email us to RSVP.
Our events are usually Open Houses. Anyone of any skill level can drop in and play for $25. We are happy to teach new players (lessons are free with admission) and we usually have enough experienced players to play a few pick-up games (ends) at the same time.
Once in a while we have a small tournament. Our current tradition is to hold a “Pumpkinspiel”, our annual Halloween tournament, some time in October.
If you wish to attend an event you must email us to RSVP.
We plan events using our mailing list. We propose dates when ice is available, and if enough people commit to a date and time, then the ice is reserved, the event is confirmed, and it’ll be posted on this site and emailed around. If you’d like to be part of the process (the more the merrier) please contact us!
All events are TENTATIVE until confirmed. Once we have enough RSVPs to pay for the ice time, we will email everyone who RSVPd and let them know the date is CONFIRMED. If we do not have enough RSVPs, we will email everyone who RSVPd and let them know the date is CANCELED.
Please watch your email (and spam folder!) for the CONFIRMED or CANCELED email for a given date. If you do not see a CONFIRMED email for a tentative date, please do not drive to the ice rink
